COMMISSIONING

We provide specialized commissioning services that help achieving high sustainability standards

Our
Commissioning
Services

Air Leakage Testing

Minimizing air leakage inside buildings is very important to ensure high levels of energy efficiency, thermal comfort, and smoke/smell/infection control between the different units and rooms within the same building. GREENER team is qualified to perform air leakage testing as per different standards including ASTM, ATTMA, EN12237, and ISO9972. With the help of thermal imaging instrument and smoke generator, GREENER team can identify the leakage spots to ensure proper sealing and air tightness

Duct Leakage Testing

This test identifies the leakage throughout the forced air ductwork for HVAC systems. Especially for high pressure ducts as required by ASHRAE standard, duct leakage testing is required during the commissioning phase of the building construction and even possibly during the operation phase of the building. Ensuring proper airtightness in ductwork is important to avoid leakage and to achieve the targeted thermal comfort and high level of energy efficiency. Duct leakage testing is commonly required in large commercial buildings.

Indoor Environmental Quality Assessment

With the growing awareness and demand for a better indoor environmental quality, improvements begins with professional indoor air quality testing and is maintained through regular indoor air quality monitoring. We provide testing and assessment services that are based on using advanced instru- ments and with a great deal of knowledge about the relevant standards and codes. Additionally, we provide assessment services to evaluate other IEQ parameters like thermal comfort, noise levels, and visual comfort assessment.

Thermal Imaging

Infrared inspection or Thermography, is used throughout industry as a key diagnostic tool for finding problems. Infrared inspections are a non destructive, non contact and a cost effective way to detect and document defects. Depending on the application, thermal imaging use to detect different types of issues, including building envelope for energy efficiency purpose, electrical switchgear and distribu- tion panels to identify loose connections and avoid fire hazards, and roof inspection to detect any wet insulation within the roof system.

Power Quality Assessment

Power quality analysis is a process that determines the overall safety and efficiency of a building or facility’s power supply. This process determines power quality by analyzing both power flow and relat- ed factors such as grounding and harmonics. Electrical power quality requires trained electrical pro- fessionals to analyze a particular set of values that include variations in voltages, currents, harmonic waveforms and more. This service is particularly useful in energy auditing, load profiling studies, and troubleshooting.
